Location data is paramount for the safety and situational awareness of our warfighters – to support this need at the U.S. Air Force’s Tech Warrior OPS event last October, TRX showcased the unique capability of the NEON GPS-Denied Location Solution to seamlessly track personnel in environments where GPS doesn’t work. Hosted by the Air Force Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program, TRX demonstrated the NEON solution’s ability to meet location and performance accuracy requirements in varying environments using a combination of body-worn sensors and ultra-wideband ranging technology. The system was demonstrated to seamlessly track personnel from outdoors where they might have GPS available into buildings and underground areas that are GPS-denied.
TRX announces the integration of NEON Signal Mapper with VIAVI CellAdvisor® 5G and OneAdvisor-800 real-time spectrum analyzers providing an automated solution that simplifies and dramatically reduces the time required for 4G-LTE and 5G-NR cellular coverage testing. The availability of this new combined solution provides automatic geo‐referencing and cloud data storage with innovative 3D visualization and reporting to validate 4G and 5G coverage and performance. VIAVI CellAdvisor 5G and OneAdvisor-800 are innovative, comprehensive, and easy-to-use base station analyzers that are ideal field-portable solutions to validate and deploy 5G radio access networks. A short demonstration of the TRX-VIAVI CellAdvisor integrated solution can be viewed below:
TRX Systems was awarded the $250,000 Grand Prize at the U.S. Army’s third Expeditionary Technology Search (xTechSearch 3) competition. TRX Systems was selected as the xTechSearch 3 Grand Prize winner by the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (ASA(ALT)) at the virtual xTech Summit held Sept. 9-11, 2020.
This week, the U.S. Army is hosting its premier technology showcase, the xTech 3 Summit - a first-ever virtual event highlighting the innovative technologies from more than 250 unique small businesses that have been incubated through the Army’s xTechSearch program.
TRX Systems was selected as a U.S. Army xTechSearch 3 Phase IV finalist by the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology. TRX’s NEON® GPS-denied dismount PNT solution was one of 12 finalists selected from hundreds of new technologies that were evaluated by the Army. Each of the finalists were awarded a $120,000 prize at the 2019 AUSA Annual Meeting and Expo at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. TRX announced today that it has been awarded a Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate (S&T) research contract to deliver an In-building Coverage and Analysis System using a first responder's radio and smartphone. The solution will quickly inform public safety users about wireless service availability within a building and in other GPS-denied areas and enable the easy identification of communication coverage gaps within specific buildings and across a total service area.
TRX Systems Moves to New Headquarters - Expands Design, Development, Test, and Training Facilities7/27/2020
TRX Systems has relocated its headquarters to accommodate the company’s growth and to provide expanded laboratory, prototyping, test, and training facilities.
TRX’s new facility is located in the center of the Baltimore-Washington corridor, providing convenient access to TRX customers – including those within federal agencies and the US Army – and to TRX Systems integrator, technology, and university partners. Only a few miles from the University of Maryland College Park, the new location is convenient to UMCP’s Clark School of Engineering, a top 25 engineering school, as well as the area’s other top universities. TRX announced today the release of the NEON Enterprise Server (NES), a private, secure, and containerized version of the 3D map and location capabilities provided by the NEON Cloud. The release of the NES provides a self-hosting option for government agencies, commercial enterprises, and military operators that cannot leverage NEON’s commercial cloud services.
Anritsu recently released the MS27101A-IBCM In-Building Coverage Mapper bundle, a fully integrated coverage mapping solution enabling technicians to verify proper signal power across multiple frequencies in a single walk-through. The combination of NEON® MA8100 Signal Mapper with the MS27101A and accessories in an innovative backpack bundle provides a compact, easy-to-use solution for automated testing and reporting of in-building and outdoor coverage and performance.
