TRX’s NEON Signal Mapper solution is used by hundreds of organizations around the world for mapping signal and sensor data indoors and in other areas without GPS. The latest update to Signal Mapper was released this week with a new, dual mode functionality that significantly enhances data collection, visualization, and reporting capabilities and continues to drive down the cost to map signal and sensor data inside large buildings. Watch a short demonstration of the new dual mode feature here: https://youtu.be/IIsNxB7Sjss. With NEON Signal Mapper’s dual mode visualization and reporting, any two collected signals can now be analyzed simultaneously in real-time on a phone or tablet for live side-by-side comparison. Remote personnel can also access the data from the NEON Cloud for dual mode analysis and reporting. The new dual mode capability saves time and lowers costs by:
Using the new dual mode features, the NEON Command Signal Map 3D viewer can now access the mapped data from the NEON Cloud in order to visualize and play back the collected and geo-referenced signal data for after action review and remote analysis. The colored heatmaps and breadcrumbs provide visual representation of the signal data in 2D and 3D. This dual mode functionality enables easier signal characterization and comparison throughout even the largest buildings but particularly in hard to test areas such as elevators and stairways. The NEON Signal Mapper grid testing capabilities also make analysis and reporting easier. A user configurable grid test can be applied to any signal map to simplify test results into more easily understood and actionable data. With the new dual mode features, the grid maps can be configured to represent the compliance of two different signals in one report. Multiple buildings can now be viewed simultaneously so that even a campus or group of buildings can be quickly analyzed for compliance for configured parameters. For example, a green outline indicates the building passed the configured parameters, red indicates failure, and gray indicates there is no data for that building. A single building can be selected to see a more detailed view of each floor, including the ability to select specific grids to view the data summary. TRX’s NEON Signal Mapper greatly reduces the complexity and time to map RF signals inside large buildings. With the dual mode capability, NEON Signal Mapper significantly reduces the time to collect and report RF coverage and performance, making the solution even more cost-effective. NEON Signal Mapper is integrated with multiple types of RF test equipment as well as other sensor devices.
