TRX Partners with Sonim to Showcase NEON Personnel Tracker at the App Association's “Future of First Responder Technology” Event on Capitol Hill

​Last week, in partnership with Sonim Technologies, TRX's NEON Personnel Tracker application was demonstrated on Capitol Hill at the App Association’s "Future of First Responder Technology" event. Carol Politi (TRX CEO) and Jeff Kunst (VP of Product Development) demonstrated our enterprise-class mapping and tracking solution for congressional staff and first responders. 

​The Capitol Hill event focused on the ways first responders and other public safety personnel are using technology to improve safety and operational effectiveness. TRX demonstrated the NEON Indoor Location System's ability to map complex buildings and to support tracking of first responders in GPS-denied environments (indoor as well as outdoor environments where GPS is not availalable or is unreliable). The NEON Personnel Tracker application was demonstrated on Sonim XP7 devices and members of Congress, their staff, and representatives from the first responder community had the opportunity for hands-on demos of our technology.

Integrated with Sonim ultra-rugged XP7 devices operating on a public safety LTE network like FirstNet, TRX’s NEON Personnel Tracker app can enhance situational awareness and improve command effectiveness as first responders safeguard major public events, deliver critical infrastructure protection, and support critical incident response.
