Solutions Engineer
The new Solutions Engineer position will have high visibility in a fast paced, high growth environment. This position is ideal for the candidate who enjoys wearing multiple hats, thrives in a dynamic environment, and seeks to impact the growth of the company as it expands its commercial software as a service offering and other products for military customers.

- Lead pre-sale technical sales efforts for perspective accounts, existing customers and partners
- Set-up and lead solution demonstrations for prospects, customers and partners including first responders and soldiers
- Develop and deliver technical presentations for customers, partners, and prospects
- Provide input to product management team on required features for new product releases
- Act as a resource to customers based on intimate knowledge of relevant industries and needs
- Develop an understanding of relevant competitive solutions, products and services
- Work closely with technical support to resolve customer problems as an escalation resource
- Lead complex problem resolution, identify appropriate resources, pro-actively develop contingency plans for customer technical issues
- Assist product marketing team in development of collateral, execution of marketing programs and support of industry events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; electrical engineering, computer science or other engineering/technology degrees preferred
- 3+ years pre and/or post sales experience in technology company; wireless technology and SaaS experience highly desirable
- Demonstrated success in prior customer-focused technology support position
- Military experience including familiarity with soldier tracking technology (e.g. DAGR) and electronic warfare highly desirable
- Solid understanding of Microsoft and Android OS with demonstrated ability to develop and/or install software in Microsoft, Android, and Linux operating systems
- Software-as-a-Service product/industry experience required; Location Services industry experience or familiarity desired
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in cross-functional, matrixed environment
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills; Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities

Electrical Engineer, Ruggedized Navigation Systems
TRX has an immediate opening for a senior electrical engineer with experience in ruggedized embedded systems; experience with satellite receiver, positioning, navigation, and timing technologies is beneficial. In this role, you will be a key developer in the design of low Size, Weight, and Power products - both hand-carried and mounted – that deliver assured PNT for military, public safety, and industrial customers. Important areas of experience include:
In this role you will design and integrate new PNT system hardware and embedded firmware. You will identify navigation system metrics and test and validate developed systems. You will be involved in development from concept through to customer fielding and support transition of prototypes to scalable production.
- Embedded systems, micro-controllers, and their interfaces
- Electrical board development, programming, debugging
- C/C++, embedded programming, signal processing, Matlab
- MEMS motion sensors including gyros, accelerometers, magnetic field sensors, pressure sensors (beneficial)
- Satellite positioning including low level GNSS signal processing, GNSS integrity monitoring, GNSS error estimation; experience with LEO satellite positioning and error estimation (beneficial)
- Vision sensors (beneficial)

In this role, you will be a key developer in the design of motion sensing electrical systems and development and validation motion sensing and navigation fusion algorithms. In this role, it is very useful to have a strong physics, mathematics, and electrical design background. Important areas of experience include:

TRX Systems Navigation Algorithm developers contribute to and lead development work in key aspects of the TRX NEON location service, including algorithm development and implementation, embedded programming, and performance assessment and optimization. TRX has open positions in this area for both entry level and experienced developers with experience in the following areas:
- Master’s/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; strong candidates with bachelor’s degrees also considered
- 1-10 years software design/programming experience
- Strong C/C++ programming skills required. Android/Java and C# beneficial
- Strong MATLAB programming skills
- Strong skills in mathematics, statistics, probability, and numerical computation
