Next week, the TRX team will be in San Diego for the 2018 PSCR Public Safety Broadband Stakeholder Meeting from June 5-8. Carol Politi, TRX’s President and CEO, and Jeff Kunst, TRX’s VP of Product Development, will be speaking at the meeting about the progress on TRX’s NIST PSIAP grant that was announced at this same event last year. The grant to TRX is focused on research and development of technology that will deliver more robust and higher accuracy 3D location for first responders and enhanced 3D visualization tools for on-site and remote commanders. The project includes development of new mapping tools as well as use case validation, field testing and feedback with first responders in Harris County, TX and Arlington, VA. TRX was also selected by NIST to provide a demonstration of our 3D tracking solution each afternoon during the event. We hope that you will be able to attend the Public Safety Broadband Stakeholder Meeting and will come by our demonstration booth for the opportunity to participate in TRX’s “Hide and Seek” game that simulates the difficult challenge of locating first responders in need of assistance around the convention center. Participants will gain firsthand experience with our NEON Personnel Tracker application as it enables faster response times, reduces radio chatter, enables efficient deployment and improves overall safety of our first responders. Participants with the best times at the end of each day will win TRX prizes and, at the end of the week, the top first responder participant will win a 1-year license for a NEON Personnel Tracker development kit.
We look forward to seeing everyone at San Diego! Comments are closed.
