TRX Releases Enhanced GPS-Denied Solution Suite Supporting ATAK and Other Secure Mobile Apps TRX Systems got off to a great start in 2019 with the release of an all new offline version of its Personnel Tracker Solution compatible with the Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK) and other secure mobile applications. The new NEON® Personnel Tracker Offline Solution is deployed with an Android APK and NEON Tracking Unit that operates offline, without an internet or cloud connection. The NEON Android API supports integration with third-party applications, delivering safety and situational awareness for warfighters and security personnel operating over secure networks.
TRX Partners with Precision Technic Defence TRX Systems and Precision Technic Defence, a provider of market-leading capabilities and interoperable systems to both military and national security agencies, announced a distribution partnership that enables Precision Technic Defence to represent and distribute NEON Personnel Tracker to various European countries. With over 30 years in business, Precision Technic Defence offers industry-leading products and complete turnkey solutions. Their deep understanding of the mission profiles and operational challenges ensure that they configure complete solutions matching the demands within C4ISR, Sensor/Platform and warrior systems. Active Violence Response Training at George Mason University TRX's NEON Personnel Tracker Solution provided 3D tracking of law enforcement and first responders during a live training exercise at George Mason University's EagleBank Arena in Fairfax, VA. The training was hosted by the SCITI Labs in a collaboration that included the Center for Innovative Technology (CIT) and the Department of Homeland Security's Science & Technology Directorate (S&T). The DHS S&T's SCITI Labs initiative leverages cutting-edge Smart City and IoT technologies to deliver new capabilities to DHS components and to enhance public safety in communities across the country. International Wireless Communications Expo For the 5th consecutive year, TRX presented and exhibited at the 2019 International Wireless Communications Expo. At the show, TRX and our partner Anritsu showcased the industry’s first field solution that provides 3D indoor and outdoor coverage mapping for 5G New Radio (5G NR). Carol Politi, TRX President and CEO, and Jeff Kunst, TRX VP of Product and Business Development, also presented at two different sessions: Upcoming TRX Event: APCO International, August 11th-14th The TRX team will be at APCO International's Annual Conference & Expo in Baltimore, Maryland August 11th-14th.
