First Responders Experiment with NEON® Personnel Tracker at TEEX

​TRX was recently invited to participate in the Winter Institute at Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) in College Station, Texas.  Winter Institute 2016 was hosted by the EDGE Innovation Network which connects government, industry, and academia in an operational setting to encourage problem solving and technology integration. ​Participants at TEEX were able to experiment and evaluate NEON® Personnel Tracker and various other applications and technologies during end user focused training sessions and a daylong emergency response exercise. ​

​TEEX is an international leader in the delivery of emergency response, homeland security and workforce training and exercises, technical assistance, and economic development. More than 168,000 people representing every U.S. state and territory and 82 countries are served annually through onsite and online resources for specialties from homeland security to economic development and workforce training. Customized TEEX training programs develop practical solutions for each client’s need through hands on instructional facilities for public utilities, law enforcement and unexploded ordinance training at the home campus or at customer specified locations worldwide. 

TRX gained extremely valuable operational feedback from the various Winter Institute participants present at TEEX. Members of the ​Texas Task Force One (TX-TF1), the state's elite urban search and rescue team, Texas National Guard, and other Texas based emergency first responders were all able to experience TRX's patented technology.
