A DARPA program, called SIGMA, aimed at preventing attacks involving radiological “dirty bombs” and other nuclear threats has successfully developed and demonstrated a network of smartphone-sized mobile devices that can detect the tiniest traces of radioactive materials. A key feature of the SIGMA architecture is that it allows for automated, real-time detection, identification and tracking of nuclear threats with continuous situational awareness via web-based command and control interfaces. More details can be found here.
TRX has partnered with Tektronix to deliver a NEON® Signal Mapper solution that supports Tektronix spectrum analyzers. With this newly integrated solution, NEON Signal Mapper can be wirelessly connected to Tektronix's RSA306 and RSA500 Series spectrum analyzer solutions such that measurement data is automatically geo-referenced indoors, underground and in other GPS-denied environments. Signal Mapper provides 3D mapping, tracking and visualization as well as report generation capabilities that can dramatically reduce the time needed to signal map a building.
TRX Systems, developer of NEON® Signal Mapper, is now partnered with Cobham, a world leader in Land Mobile Radio test and measurement, to deliver an integrated LMR Signal Mapping Solution. This innovative new solution will be showcased at the 82nd Annual APCO International Conference and Expo, August 15-16, 2016 in Orlando, Florida. TRX will be in APCO booth #1507 at the Orange County Convention Center.
TRX Systems is now partnered with the Anritsu Company to deliver integrated solutions that feature TRX’s NEON® Signal Mapper application with Anritsu’s industry leading handheld analyzers. Utilizing NEON’s capability to automatically collect geo-referenced test data with Anritsu’s handheld spectrum analyzer products saves valuable time and money by:
