Sentinel Tracking Beacon:

While wearing the Sentinel Tracking System, a firefighter will no longer have to remember their path since the Sentinel system will automatically track their exact location and report back information to any incident commander at the scene.

 

There are two main components to the Sentinel System.

1. The Communication Module. This device consists of a powerful data radio capable of sending location data miles. Our GPS unit is strategically placed inside the communication module to allow stand alone GPS tracking for personnel not currently indoors. The Communications Module can be placed anywhere. In the picture below, it is placed in the chest pocket.
2. Tracking Module. This device is calibrated to be worn around the waist. It computes position estimates and wirelessly communicates with the Communications Module to transmit data to the Base Station.
