May 6, 2013 - Maryland Entreprenuer Quarterly writes about TRX Systems indoor location and mapping technologies in TRX Systems' Teolis and Politi:  On Track to Save Lives.  "On the fourth floor of the Greenway Center, an unremarkable glass office building in Greenbelt, TRX Systems’ Carol Politi; Carole Teolis, Ph.D.; and their team are improving the survival odds for firefighters, soldiers and miners with TRX NEON, a non-GPS 3-D tracking technology."

April 19, 2013 - Fast Company profiles the TRX Systems - Motorola Solutions partnership for indoor location solutions in "When Startups Pair with Big Corporations, Everyone Wins - If You Make the Right Match". Michael Goldstein's article states "Another startup, TRX Systems, benefitted from increased distribution when Motorola Solutions first made an investment in the startup and then announced they were making its NEON Indoor Location solution available to users."

April 19, 2013 - TRX Systems receives 2013 Angel Capital Association Luis Villalobos Awardfor Innovation in indoor location. The Angel Capital Association (ACA), the trade association of leading angel investment groups in North America, announced at the 2013 ACA Summit that TRX Systems, Inc. of Greenbelt, MD is the winner of the 2013 Luis Villalobos Award. “Innovation is the touchstone of angel group investing,” said Marianne Hudson, executive director of ACA. “This year’s winner of the Luis Villalobos Award, TRX Systems, exemplifies the highest order of innovation with an indoor location technology that solves enormously challenging real world problems to make people’s lives safer and more productive.”

March 14, 2013 - TRX Systems Receives CRTC 2013 TechAward.  TRX Systems' Chief Technology Officer - Dr. Carole Teolis - was awarded the CRTC 2013 Woman In Tech Award honoring the individual who best exemplifies the outstanding contributions made by women in advancing technology in industry, business and society.  Dr. Teolis is a cofounder of TRX, developing innovative indoor location technology.

March 13, 2013 - Motorola Solutions, Inc. announces third quarter availability of the TRX NEON Indoor Location Solution working with the Motorola APX(TM) radios at the IWCE show in Las Vegas.   The NEON solution is being made available for event security, training, and other mission-essential applications requiring a highly portable system that can deliver precision indoor location.

March 6, 2013 - "WASP in Protective Clothing Helps Reduce Disabilities" by Fibre2Fashion, reviews the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service's test bed evaluation of the Globe Wearable Advanced Sensor Platform (WASP) program.  Thirteen recruits attending a 21-day TEEX physical skills training session were fitted with a wearable fire-resistant shirt with a Zephyr bio-harness and TRX NEON Tracking Unit.

January 15, 2013 - Fire Chief Magazine highlights the Globe Wearable Advanced Sensor Platform(WASP) delivering both tracking and physiological monitoring, initially for training applications and moving into live incident environments.

November 19, 2012 - Bizcommuniity.com discusses the benefits to customers from the Motorola Solutions investment. According to Westcon SA the significance of the investment for customers is that they will now benefit from integration of the TRX NEON Indoor Location System with Motorola Solutions radios, to expand industrial and commercial location applications for which the TRX sensor fusion and mapping technology is used.

November 13, 2012 - Washington Business Journal discusses TRX Systems, Inc. recent $2M funding investment from Motorola Solutions Inc., New Dominion Angels, the Maryland Department of Economic Development and other inside investors.

September 4, 2012 - Fire Engineering Magazine covers the demonstration of the GLANSER indoor location technology developed by the Honeywell/Boeing Argon ST/TRX Systems team. DHS-S&T's Mapar says, "The goal is to bring the GLANSER system to market in the next year or so."
