Map Matching

When building floor plans are available, an algorithm uses the map data to enhance the accuracy of the coordinates calculated by the Sentinel tracking device.  These coordinates are then plotted directly on the floor plans to aid visualization at the command center. To further aid visualization, TRX is developing an option to zoom into a particular individual to view a 3-Dimensional perspective of his trajectory. Incident Commanders may use this invaluable feature to guide rescue teams to trapped firefighters.
